Tech And Train® is short form for Technology And Training. This endeavor is created with a belief that training / mentoring / nurturing knowledge around open source & collaborative ways is one of the best ways for progress. Academics & Education play a big role in social and economic progress. Tech And Train® is Learner Centered, Open Source and Digital focused. Ideas form an important part of human evolution and lead us to innovation which is why our tag line is WE THRIVE ON IDEAS. We are focused on building things which add value to Academics & Education domain and not just on sales.

One of the aims of this platform is to create and organize useful information with due credit to original source if from outside the platform from across the internet for students and young professionals to enhance their knowledge & its applicability in technology & management. Our primary aim is to further the cause of collaboration & innovation around knowledge in open source ways. We don't intend to make large profits from this platform but rather charge reasonable fees for our services & products. Tech And Train® platform is free of advertisements, endorsements and does not involve any investors.

You can reach out to us for conducting training and workshops for freshers who have recently joined industry and for students as an orientation for industry: Training could be across programming in Java and similar JDK driven languages, Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Business Process Management, BigData, NoSQL, Search, Enterprise Content Management, AWS, Cloud, Linux, Scanning solutions, etc. We conduct 3 to 5 days workshops on these topics for MBA / MCA / BE / BTech / MSc / BCA / BBA / BSc students along with few other soft skills like networking for jobs in Ahmedabad startup and mid sized company ecosystem.

Typical workshop that we conduct for freshers and students in Gujarat: Workshop of 5 working days with daily 8-9 hours for students on topics - Java, BPM, BigData, NoSQL, R programming & AWS alongside soft skills overview like networking with LinkedIn, how to use social media and best practices to update oneself as a student. Tips on companies in Gujarat and type of work they do. Workshop is oriented towards practical skills being used in IT industry at present and helps to prepare final year students into job ready professionals. We would provide notes, presentations and exercises for this. To be conducted preferably at college campus for 10 to 15 participants.

Day 1 - Java: Collections, Major packages and classes, Threads, JSP, Swing, JavaFX, JDBC, Reflection, JavaBeans, Generics, etc.
Day 2 - Business Process Management: Major open source products in BPM, Workflows, Notifications, Tasks, Customization, BPMN, Designer / Modeler, Industry example of BPM, etc.
Day 3 - BigData and NoSQL: Hadoop & Spark Architecture, Yarn, MLib package, MapReduce, MongoDB architecture, Major MongoDB commands, etc.
Day 4 - R & Python programming
Day 5 - AWS overview & Soft skills / networking / job search / company search tips
